Kliment Olechnovič received his Ph. D. in Computer Science from Vilnius University in 2017. Currently he is a researcher in Department of Bioinformatics in Vilnius University Life Sciences Center. His past and present research is focused on developing novel computational techniques for the analysis of 3D structures of proteins, nucleic acids and their complexes.
The methods developed by Kliment Olechnovič contributed to the successes of the Vilnius University Institute of Biotechnology team in world-wide CASP (Critical Assessment of Techniques for Protein Structure Prediction) and CAPRI (Critical Assessment of PRedicted Interactions) experiments in 2016 and 2018.
